The city slogan “Walk into Something Wonderful” summarizes Northampton’s distinctive and refined arts culture, established restaurant industry and abundance of boutique shops. Many accomplished artists call Northampton home contributing to the exceptionally versatile and successful arts community.


The 2014 festival will be held at the legendary and newly renovated Academy of Music Theatre! 


We will showcase features, documentaries and short films from around the world, chosen by a panel of film industry experts. Additional events will include a gala following the opening night feature film, discussion panels with filmmakers and a closing awards ceremony.

The Academy of Music opened its doors in 1891.

Its 800-seat theatre is believed to be the 6th oldest in the United States and showcases major performance groups from all over the world, featuring opera, ballet, film, music, live theater and arts education. Many famous performers have graced the theatre’s stage and it continues to be one of the city’s prime gems.


The Academy of Music is located in the main downtown area and within walking distance of everything Northampton has to offer.
